Chateau began with memories of Los Angeles — long afternoons disappearing into late nights, drinks in dimly lit hotel bars, palm trees beyond open windows, and the particular kind of glamour that never needed to announce itself. Velvet worn soft with time. Dark wood. Warm skin. Familiar faces and strangers you somehow felt you knew.

Years later the details have blurred, but the feeling remains.

Chateau captures that memory through contrasts: bright bergamot and lemon against smoky oud; tuberose and oak moss warmed by crystalline amber; earthy vetiver, magnolia and musk lingering close to the skin. Freshness gives way to something deeper and more intimate — The olfactory equivalent of sunlight fading from a room while the night begins somewhere downstairs.

It is polished without being precious. Seductive without trying too hard. A little mysterious, a little undone. Worn-in luxury.

Chateau is for the person who would rather have a story than an itinerary. Who know the best table isn't always the most visible one. Who appreciates beautiful things more once they've acquired a little history and grit. Who might order one more drink because the night suddenly feels interesting.

There is something familiar about Chateau, though exactly what may be difficult to place. Like a memory you're not entirely sure was yours.

Set the mood, then settle in. Before each lighting, trim the wick to ¼ in (6 mm) for a clean, even burn. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and anything flammable, and allow the candle to burn within sight for no more than four hours at a time. Keep away from children and pets. When ½ in (12 mm) of wax remains, it’s time to say goodbye. Never extinguish with water.
