Join us for a small group lesson on watercolor painting from Bakersfield artist and art educator, Robyn Dyer*. Guests will practice beginner techniques of watercolor washes in this guided workshop and leave with their own works of art!
No experience necessary! Ages 12+ recommended.

Robyn Dyer is a Bakersfield-based artist and art educator who has spent the past 10 years teaching art while maintaining an active studio practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from California State University, Bakersfield, and is currently pursuing her Master's degree through Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
Working primarily in watercolor and oil paint, Dyer finds inspiration in the colors, landscapes, and natural curiosities of California life. Her work has been exhibited at the Bakersfield Museum of Art and Metro Galleries.
Robyn loves helping artists of all skill levels discover new techniques and build confidence through creative exploration, making her the perfect guide for an evening of watercolor, wine, and fun!

In this intimate, small-group workshop, experienced candle maker and entrepreneur, Charlie, will guide guests through the art of crafting their own custom fall candle from start to finish. You'll blend a signature autumn-inspired fragrance, learn how to choose the right wax, wick, and fragrance combinations, and discover the techniques that create a clean, beautifully burning candle.
With only 12 seats available, this hands-on workshop offers plenty of time to ask questions, explore the process in depth, and gain the knowledge and confidence to continue making candles at home. Whether you're simply looking for a fun outing or you're curious about turning candle making into a new hobby, you'll leave with your own handcrafted candle, practical skills, and the inspiration to keep creating long after the workshop ends.
